One night, during one of their usual face-offs, Sonic accidentally triggers Dr. Eggman’s latest invention. The massive energy released from the machine causes a distortion in time and space, sending Sonic’s allies—along with Dr. Eggman’s army—into a temporal rift…
When Sonic wakes up, he finds himself in a place resembling Earth, inhabited by “humans”.

There, he meets Chris, a timid young boy raised in a wealthy family.
From there, their adventure begins…
