Japanese v1.2.0 (DVD)
The Japanese DVD masters (v1.2.0) are an evolution of the Japanese web masters (v1.1.0).
They were used for the Japanese VHSes and DVDs release (01-52).

In episode 39, at 09:22, as well as in episode 49, at 05:32, the flashback of Sonic exceeding the speed of sound is left unaltered until v1.3.0.
Episode 7
At 17:32, the animation of Sonic exceeding the speed of sound is altered like in episode 1.
