Japanese v1.0.0 (TV)

The Japanese TV masters (v1.0.0) are the first masters of Sonic X.

They were used for the TV Tokyo broadcast (01-52).

Both sponsor cards were present, although trimmed from most reëncodes of the original files.

A text reading “When watching anime, please watch it at a good distance from the TV in a well-lit room.” is present at the start of every episode.

Episode 16

The last 30 seconds of episode 16 are very different from future masters. The first half is a preview of episode 17, while the second half is an advertisement for the Hi-Spec DVDs.

Preservation

The original transport stream (TS) files are lost. Mostly videos that have been trimmed to the 24:35 conventional length are to be found anymore. Some recordings have the TV timestamp on the top-left corner, while others do not.
